What is Spiritual Warfare?

Spiritual warfare is binding and loosening in prayer and purposefully attacking spiritual strongholds of opposition and resistance against the Word of GOD, the Gospel of Christ in your life. It is taking up, in prayer, the authority as a believer that Jesus gave His disciples.

Ephesians 6:12 (KJV), 12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Although spiritual warfare against powers of the unseen spirit world is important, most of your daily battles will be within your own mind and imaginations.

Satan understands spiritual warfare and uses man's own ignorance of his delegated spiritual authority and the fertile ground of man's unguarded imaginations to attack him. This is why it is important to continually renew your mind with the Word of God.

2 Corinthians 10:5 (KJV), 5Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

A sign of spiritual maturity is the ability to know the source of your thoughts and imaginations and deal with them accordingly. Imaginations need to be cast down.

Why do people have and experience problems?

Why are born again believers not living a victorious life, full of righteousness, peace and joy?

2 Corinthians 10:3-4 (KJV), 3For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:  4For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;

We are more than conquerors in our savior Jesus Christ, there are battles to fight and win. Glory, honor and praise be to God. When you received Christ you are in a position to be categorized, particularly where Satan is concerned, as a part of the most dangerous human beings on the face of this Earth.

Romans 8:28-39 (KJV), 28And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

God’s Everlasting Love

31What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36As it is written

“ For Your sake we are killed all day long;

We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”

37Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

"ALL PRAISE, HONOR AND GLORY TO GOD"

Numbers 6:24-26 (KJV), 24The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: 25The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: 26The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV), 7For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
